La Table du Couvent

This was our first to this restaurant. It was really good. The interior was amazing. We loved the fact that the chef visits your table with the steak to explain the piece you have chosen. It was then cooked immaculately. The food was amazing.

We had a fantastic diner here.Service was excellent, magnificent historical setting and above all great food, well cooked meat and delicious sides.I cannot recommend more !

Second visit here and I am happy to report that La Table du Couvent remains at the top of its game. From the exquisitely well prepared oeufs cocottes to the perfectly cooked wood-grilled beef, this is surely the place to come to taste the real boeuf de limousin. Service is always attentive but never overbearing, and Ronan gets my vote as one of the best servers in France. A modest but well chosen wine list and a superb chariot de fromage round off the experience. The defining room is a real treat as well. Where else can you eat beef while a life-sized stuffed steer looks on with approval! Very much recommended.
